Setting up Slack integration

Connecting Slack to Intelo gives Ivo full context on your Slack conversations, so you can ask Ivo to catch you up, pull action items, or draft replies. To get started, go to Settings, then Integrations, and click "Connect" on the Slack card.

You will be redirected to Slack's authorization page. Select the workspace you want to connect and approve the requested permissions. Intelo requests access to read messages in channels you are a member of and your direct messages. It does not post messages on your behalf unless you explicitly use the reply feature.

After authorization, Intelo performs an initial sync of your recent Slack activity. You can choose which channels Ivo has access to. By default, Ivo can see all channels you are a member of, but you can exclude specific channels from the Slack integration settings page. This is useful for high-volume channels that are not relevant to your workflow.

Once connected, Slack messages appear in your unified Inbox alongside emails. Ivo treats Slack messages the same as emails for prioritization purposes, so important direct messages and mentions will surface at the top. You can reply to Slack messages directly from Intelo, and your response will appear in Slack as if you sent it from the Slack app.
